It's a miracle that Israeli's aren't screaming in anger in the streets for Olmerts resignation. I can't even stand the look of the guy anymore.

...and that the State of Israel won't suffer any harm to come to its sovereignty or citizens," Olmert declared. Then I guess the soldiers kidnapped precipitating this war, are no longer Israeli citizens.
This guy is giving Chirac a run for the money.

I like to call the guy ElMort, because he's willing to expend Israeli lives simply to put off the inevitable.
At some point Israel will have to exterminate every member of Hezbollah that remains in Lebanon. Until such a time, they will re-arm, regroup and start this all over again.

Any cessation of hostilities at this point is simply delaying the inevitable, while allowing hezbollah to re-arm and re-group.
Big mistake, Olmert, and one that will come back to haunt you.

He will definitely lose his job over this debacle.

IMO, much less. I agree with your thought. You're right. Everyone knows it that has more than 10% of brain function left.
These days, there's quite a few who obviously don't.

The Israelis should be demanding Olmert's and Bush's heads. Bush, France, Olmert and the UN all sold out the Israelis who scored a total defeat in the "cease-fire", while Hezbollah got everything they wanted.
We should be ashamed.

The people of Israel know it's not over and there are no winners or losers yet but the question is, will they accept Olmert before the fighting resumes?

Hezbollah will be back in 5 years with WMDs. 5 years? That's very optimistic.

let's see..........they went into lebannon, damn near wiped out an entire terrorist organization ( a well entrenched one, complete with underground bunkers and ammo storage area's ) destroyed the ability to reinforce during the conflict, trapped the enemy and damn near completely eliminated the ability of them to fight in any coherent manner....yep, he should be run out of town on a rail.

There is no inclination to leave the hostages captive. Did you seriously think the Israelis were going to stumble on these guys and liberate them?

Say what you will about him, he foretold the type of PM he would be:
"We are tired of fighting, we are tired of being courageous, we are tired of winning, we are tired of defeating our enemies, ..".
And Israelis still voted for him.

Perhaps YOU should be ashamed. Those of us who support the President certainly aren't.
