Excellent post. It is kinda hard realizing that Israel did not have complete and total victory. Leaving Hezbollah armed and the two soldiers still missing seems like a defeat for Israel, something I thought I would never see.
Anyway, Condi Rice said they are going to disarm Hezbollah, so I guess Israel can rest easy....sarcasm////

Fist of all- YOU ROCK!
and I respect you very much! Sincerely...
My "anger" is at the World treatment of Israel in general...and the blindness people have towards the definition of success...
I have LOVED BUSH....but I miss the one that emerged on Sept 11th....
I just can't bring myself to say it okay for us to invade Afgahnistan and scream about the Dems wanting a planned surrender in Iraq- but we support the French being one of the major players in brokering this deal and sending troops.....then the French say they won't disarm the Hezzies...
why can't we admit that this is just not "success" wihtout being accused of being hysterical and ANGRY with Bush...
I don't trust the French..... or the UN and I am not going to sit here and say I do just because some people will get mad at me.
I would love to know how many FREEPers truly trust that the French are the best ones for this job and trust them and the UN to enforce "another" Resolution.....

THANK YOU!
This administration is blindingly predictable and steady, on politics, on international relations, on domestic policy.
It's crazy how little people pay attention to anything other than press-induced chaos. The press may be to stupid to pay attention, but we shouldn't be.

"IOW, your synagogue is always offended by something or other that the President is doing. Which explains why they're all dems in the first place."
Yea, I bitch a lot. LOL But as I mentioned to you before aside from a few brainless appointments (Gonzales, Chertoff) and our problem with the borders, GWB gets high marks from me.
I'm not sure what you mean by "your Synagogue" as I'm not Jewish. I'm not even sure who you mean by "They're".

Only certain people are allowed to express outrage at certain things. Only certain people are allowed to tell others to "go to hell" or call names, (example, dumbass) and get away with it. That is a fact, do you deny it?
I was trying to let him/her know that if they were a "protected freeper", they could express themselves freely without worrying about the group-thinkers attacking them. That is all I was trying to do. You may have read it a certain way, I can understand that, but my intent is what I stated above.

you should adjust your position:
Democracy is a noble goal to pursue, but only AFTER we destroy the crazies. Its the sequence that is important: Destruction first, democracy after.

No one has asked you to trust the French or the UN. You won't find any thinking person doing so.
However, it's been five minutes since the shooting stopped and it would be best to wait for the dust to settle before hysterics settle in.....don't you think?

Oh, I see. Well, I've said my piece and need to get ready to go to church. I suggest you wait and see what happens. I have yet to find any evidence of George Bush undermining Israel, and we don't have access to the intelligence about Iran and Syria.

I wouldn't be surprised if the moment Nasrallah opens his big, fat mouth on a radio address that a strategic weapon will find a path to his location and interupt his "talk of success". Bibi should have been in charge, not Ohmert (he's Israel's version of Al Gore!). Above all, Iran and Syria need serious bombing BIG TIME!
To: yellowdoghunter
Oh, the protected freeper charge again. Paranoid too, I see.

In my reading of FR threads, it's usually the anti Bush crowd who gets away with ill-thought statements.
