GAZA (Reuters) - Palestinian gunmen kidnapped two foreign journalists working for the Fox News television channel in Gaza on Monday, a witness said.
The witness, a Palestinian who worked with the two journalists, said one of them, a producer, was an American, and the other, whose nationality he did not know, was a cameraman.
The Fox News bureau in Jerusalem said it was checking the report.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the abduction.
The witness said two vehicles blocked the journalist's transmission truck in the center of Gaza City and a masked man put a gun to the bodyguard's head, forcing him to the ground.
The kidnappers then sped away with the two journalists.
Similar incidents in the past in Gaza have ended with the release, usually within hours, of kidnapped foreign journalists or aid workers.
Many of the abductions were carried out by Palestinians pressing a grievance against the Palestinian government or its security forces
If something is said on the air that the terrorists do not like, Steve Centanni could be REALLY dead.
I do not want that.
BTW, with all due respect I don't think Steve Centanni is sitting somewhere, blindfolded saying "Please God, Don't let FOX do the joke at the end of Brit's show."

I find this story about 2 reporters being kidnapped just as important.
I believe Fox can be responsible in it's coverage of it's own.
I am a little more worried about the safety of Steve Centanni than I am about what Fox decidesd was appropriate to report.
Let it go or change the channel.

I really don't appreciate the tone "change the channel" as if that is the point and also as if I am not too concerned about the wellbeing of another human being beyond my own "selfish" interests. Most of us are not children here.

And in all fairness, it isn't just you. There is alot going on these days and it seems as if there is always a segment of posters who want to whine about what someone is not doing right or what is in bad taste.
Enquiring Mind, as a citizen of the United States, I would consider it in bad taste and offensive if FOX pulled the little skit at the end. Never let them steal our laughter.
I am as upset about this as anyone, but I will be damned if I want FOX or anyone else to bow to these thugs.

I used to think very highly of Shep. I overlooked his Geraldo like reporting of NOLA. Then I watched him condem the Israelis. I get the hips every time I hear a MSM talk about military tactics. None have every been through basic, much less know the pronciples of the offense or defense.
this whole thing is unusual isn't it cindydawg? I think this is breaking news but Foxnews doesn't seem to think so, however ya know they have to have a good reason why they aren't talking about this. I just wish I could understand why.
