Gosh, I don't see any common thread, do you? It couldn't possibly be that they were all fairly recent converts to Islam. No, that's the Religion of Peace. Must be something else.

Muslim converts, proportionally, seem to be more fanatical than Muslims by tradition. Though the same could be stated for Christian converts and those who are nominal Christians but are probably not Christian at all (lots in Europe and even the United States).

However, Christians aren't out to murder people.

For the Christians in the comment, they are not fanatical, but devout. Devout could have been used in lieu of fanatical.
