Shortly after returning from Iraq last year, Army Sgt. Ricky Clousing gathered a few belongings and sneaked out of Fort Bragg, leaving only a note quoting Martin Luther King.
After six months spent seeing the "daily physical, psychological and emotional harassment of civilians," the 24-year-old said he was confused and disenchanted with the United States' role in the war.

Maybe the King family should sue for copyright violations.
I wonder if he'll team up w/Cindy Sheehan and go on the stalking/fasting/photo-op circuit.
We are all a biot confused by this war. Wars were nevr meant to be fought with limits and rules. War is kiling the enemy until they no longer have the will to fight back.
No one can win a limited war or one where one side is unlimited but the other cannot harm civil works projects such as water and electricity , or cannot inflict damage because of threats to civilians.
If a country is not ready to fight full out to win, they should stay home. I am frightened that this country will never again be ready to fight to win. perhaps when we get closer to losing, ---not the war, but the country.
There was another story on this posted here a couple of days ago. In it, he had a fairly long list of "atrocities" which all sounded pretty much like lies--in my opinion, he left because (a) he wanted to go back to a nice comfy civilian life, and (b) he wasn't tough enough to do the job. The peackenik/antiwar thing was just a convenient excuse. I doubt the man has many convictions, but I sure hope he GETS one.
He'll show up in a few years at the Board of Corrections trying to get his discharge status changed....f him.
Let us all hope he gets four years at Leavenworth, which typically, used to be the standard.
Didn't John Kerry show up when Jimmy Carter became president and had his DD changed to one with a happy face on it?
That was the rumor. Can't prove a thing unless Kerry signs the waiver to allow the Navy to release his records. That isn't going to happen.
He actually came back??? Just wait until the other soldiers get through with him!
It almost certainly was not a DD. It was probably an Undesirable Discharge. A DD would be attached to a general or special court martial and those are real difficult to hide. The UD is administrative and a lot easier to hide.
