#401, you sure nailed it on that post. It is all about BDS so contagious that is a huge epidemic.
LGF on Reliable Sources
Allahpundit fired up his TiVo and grabbed a copy of my caged death match with Arianna Huffington this morning on Reliable Sources with Howard Kurtz, and graciously allowed me to steal his video file and post it here for the lizardoid hordes.
I still hate watching myself on TV.

Heres a full transcript including some more comments about the Lieberman-Lamont election.
UPDATE at 8/13/06 11:27:12 am:
I misspoke in this section:
And if you notice, a lot of the people who voted for Lieberman are now experiencing a sort of a sticker shock and sort of wondering whether they did the right thing.
I meant Lamont, not Lieberman, of course.

I love the internet. I love new media even more!
In case the post doesn't come through right, if you go to LGF, where it might say
(Video player requires Flash Player 8.)
will be a video link to the clip from the show.
I read this as a leading question pointing to an obvious answer, not a criticism. The obvious answers I come up with are that
I would hope that those that have the translated documents will begin the Document dump on the media now so their feeble brains can have some of the info out their by the end of October. Maybe it is wishful thinking, because they have already had access to some of the translated data, and have done squat with them. It does not follow their plans for a Dem takeover, so they file it in the circular file.
Excellent idea, let me second the motion.
#423,LOL!!
Thanks for providing the link.
I am a bit less pi**ed at my neighbor now, but not much. :)
"Elections have consequences...that message should be pounded into the heads of every American. After the Palestinians shot themselves in the foot by electing Hamas, and Louisiana's elected officials letting the state down, it shouldn't be difficult to get people to listen."
AMEN!
Actually, I have enough contacts in the "import/export" business (on the "grey market") to find this plausible. These folks may actually be "buying them for $20 here to sell for $38 there" as one of the recent detainees said. That's the way that market works. So long as they take no pay for themselves up front they can turn a profit (with gas prices going up it's getting to be a slimmer market, however). The flip side of that argument is why they can get away with that mark up. There are a ton of trade restrictions on cell phones that will work with our systems and their import and export is restricted for a reason. The majority of these phones may be going to legit people looking to get around "the system." But if even 1 percent of them are going to jihadi's with bad intent that's way too much.
Me, I think it's likely at least some of these folks are jihadi's looking for remote detonators or covert communications, but it's within the "realm of the possible." That's what makes this stuff so hard.
Allow me to quote myself:
The saddest words of tongue or pen are not "it might have been," but "if only I'd known."
I recognize that someone (lots of someones) wiser (and older) than I may have come to this conclusion long ago. It is a truth, and thinking people will tend to stumble upon truths, from time to time. Even sporadically thinking people, like moi, can have an epiphany now and then.
TG: You said "Trouble is, they can't seem to define what that 'new direction' is. It could be to wealth and milk and honey, or it could be over the cliff. A 'new direction' for the sake of a 'new direction' does not necessarily lead to a 'better direction'."
Reminds me of the old Dilbert T-shirt "Change is good. You go first!"
August 22nd is Tuesday, ten days or so from now. August 23rd is Wednesday and both have been identified as possible "significant dates" that the jihadi/Armageddon squad might like to hit us.
Was not Arianna once a conservative or at least make noises to that effect? I seem to recall she would knock Clinton. Of course her irritating accent is a bit too much to overcome.
Another funny thing I recall on her was the debate she was having with Ahnold and the other guy even tho she was polling in single digits. Ahnold said something like he could use her in his next Terminator movie and she went off screeching that he was going to flush her head down a toilet, he hates women, yada yada.
Unfortunately David Gregory was subbing so I turned it off immediately.
#443 excellent post...
Peggy Noonan is an excellent writer but just so so as a political analyst. George Will is ... what can I say. He is a former conservative columnist who is not worth reading. There is way too much stuff on the Net to bother with the phony supposedly conservative columns by GW. He is a sell-out to Disney/ABC.
No...the UK bomb plot was made up by Oliver Stone...because he has the movie World Trade Center coming out...
He paid some Brit Muslims to "pretend" they were gonna blow up some planes...and get "caught" the same week the movie premieres...JUST to get the world's attention.
That is MY conspiracy theory, and I am sticking with it.
#454, Yes she used to be a very big Conservative and was on the old Conservative Network(the Name escapes me) as a commentator. She differed with GOP on a few things, and then I think she just started out of the blue differing on most things GOP,especially after her Hubby lost and then came out of the closet. I am glad to see her on their side, she was always a kook, now she is a witchy, hormonal, liberal kook.
