There are terror plots, and weirdo's buyig cell phones for who knows what purpose, IF and that's a big IF we are attacked again (God forbid) do you than propose we continue what we are doing or should we reavaluate what we are doing and if something new needs to be done?

Just asking.

From what I saw, I agree. Gregory is a dufus, but still, anything is better than Russert.

Mehlman did a great job!

Hezbollah says it is NOT READY TO DISCUSS DISARMING. From another FR thread.

Good to know. Israel will have to finish the job then.

Iraqi and US troops captured 60 terrorists (insurgents) in Baghdad. Not a word in the MSM?

I think it shows that in comparison with other Israeli leaders he does not fully understand the military implication of their situation. I think it is too simple just to say that is because he does not have a military background.

He wasn't a top leader of the IDF, but like virtually all Jewish Israeli's he did serve in their military.  According to his biography on the web site "Zionism and Israel" (an apparently pro Israel site):

Olmert served in the IDF as combat infantry unit (Golani) officer. He was also a military correspondent for the IDF journal Bamahane.

It may be that his time as a journalist tainted his world view.  Their news outlets are notoriously pacifist.  They want to be loved by the Europeans too much.

It just seemed, to me, that Gregory was not listening to the answer at all, but was already thinking and reading ahead to the next question.

Exactly. It was a grilling, not a give and take interview. Can't wait to see how he treats Kean and Hamilton. I can already tell he's elevating their importance.

Iraq is the perfect environment to kill as many of those radicals as possible, in the most efficient manner.

LOL. Feingold does not get this. He just said we should focus only on those that attacked us on 9/11. Now there is a prescription for success...NOT.

Ref #212, Chrissie IMHO has really gone off the deep end. He is sounding more and more partisan Dem and more and more foolish. I heard an excerpt of his Show where he was talking about the Lamont/Lieberman race, and if was unbelievable how he was disparaging Lieberman's big snotty nose and his "Uncle Toonoose" attitude. The lefties are forgetting that they are broadcasting and are saying the really hateful things that they only used to think and talk about among themselves. They think that this is not going to bring sympathy to Lieberman, when they are so over the top hateful, they are very wrong. I guess since people pick on how gross it is when Chrissie spits a lot when he talks,he figures he can say things about Lieberman. I thought those bums could not shock me any more with their outrageous behavior, but they one up themselves every single day.

Israeli PM is not a job for the timid...I believe the Israeli's made a serious mistake when they did not put Netanyahu back in office.

Elections have consequences...that message should be pounded into the heads of every American. After the Palestinians shot themselves in the foot by electing Hamas, and Louisiana's elected officials letting the state down, it shouldn't be difficult to get people to listen.

Medved was saying Olmert is a lawyer, and tries to solve disputes with words, rather than with force. Bring back Bibi.

I'm boo-hooing! Turned on MTP just minutes ago and saw Chertoff. I cannot believe I missed Mehlman!!! Did Gregory give him just a couple of minutes? Can't wait to see how much time Dean gets!

I enjoy reading transcripts of interviews by Hugh Hewitt

Ditto. He is excellent at eliciting information and expanding understanding of the subject matter at hand. He is very, very good. Like Brit Hume.

The President tried to get away from this 'it's al-qaada' nonsense with his statement on islamic fascism. Too bad he used one too many words to describe our true enemy.

Just asking.

I told you I have work to do and now you're baiting me.

Sure we should review, we should CONSTANTLY review, what we're doing to prevent terror attacks.

What we should NOT be doing is implementing a bunch of has-been politician recommendations just so they can feel important. Now if they recommend anything worth while, so okay.

But you know and I know that this 9-11 commission was a joke and I have been furious about this joke since it happened.

First, I have descendents whose history will be forever altered because a bunch of nothings and Clinton flackies orchestrated a campaign ...NOT to properly record history that we may learn from it. NOT to gather information from ALL sources that history be duly recorded. NOT to provide the American public the truth but to salvage the Clinton failings and what, me bitter?

That 9-11 commission was formed, lock , stock and barrel, by the Clintons and the Jersey girls they could recruit who have their own political ambitions.

Which means that the whole lie was foisted on us and it wasn't for the betterment of the country.

Now I'm watching these nothings going out and pontificating, whining and crying that we have not taken their recommendations.

Yet every day terror plots are discovered and dismantled and someone reading this PLEASE TELL ME WHY we should change what we are doing to please these self-important liars?

So okay, we'll likely get attacked sometime. This is a big country and sooner or later some home-grown nut job will get a little help from Pakistan and manage to pull off something. But go with me here, whatever might happen it WOULD NOT have been prevented by listening to the Jersey girls and those 9-11 flackies.

A complete waste of time and yeah I am bitter that they've managed to change history and I am SICK of history being changed.

Take a poll. How many think we should change what this admin is doing to fight terror and listen to ex-Governors and harpy Jersey girls and change our tactics to match theirs?

Man, I've got work to do.
