Overwhelming is right. I was 7 or 8 when I first saw and crossed the bridge...it flipped me out and has on every crossing since :)

You know, I think my experience as a 7 year old led to my phobia of driving over bridges when I first learned to drive. I still get a little jumpy when driving over new bridges. :)
