Everything Dobson said makes sense and it correct.

It won't stop those with an agenda and an ax to grind, but there it is.

Curious. The Logic Fallacy known as Guilt by Association now. My the Leftists seem to have no limit to the depths of mental imbecility they will stoop to to attack their ideological foes

We did not believe it was anti-Semitic in 2004, and our views have not changed.

A lot of the villains were Jews.
A lot of the villains were Romans.
One of the villains was Supernatural.
One of the villains was portrayed by Mel Gibson.

The heroes were all Jews.

Such blatant antisemitism should not be allowed.

I respect James Dobson, but Mel Gibson has got serious problems not only with alcohol but with anti-Semitism. Dobson denying Mel's anti-Semitism doesn't make the situation go away. Certain folks will forgive and forget Gibson's outbursts. Some Jews may choose to forgive but not forget.

Mel clearly has a serious problem with Jews. Like father like son. Had he been Noam Chomsky's son, he would likely have different idiotic beliefs rather than the ones his nutbag Dad "taught" him.

Denying the problem wont make it do away. Mel needs to get sober, and only then can he face the silly anti-semetic beliefs he inherited.

With some altsheimers in my family, many of us have discussed what it would mean to lose control like that and say and do things that would be absolutely the opposite of what we stood for when in our right mind.

I think everyone has thoughts that they suppress but fear would come up if they lost control. That is one of the terrible things about altsheimers

....and being slosh, smelly drunk.

Before the PC era, the was the saying, "Sticks and stones can break my bones, but words will never hurt me."

Today, it seems greater emphasis is placed on what people say than what they do.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com way i see it, Christ killed himself and his executioners merely the instrument...

his mission in life was to die for our sins.

he delivered himself unto them Judas not withstanding, because he KNEW he was going to his death when he gave himself up.

Gods' Love...

"one of the finest films of this era."

I will have to take your word Jimmy Boy on that. This Christian has never seen the Passion of Christ. I like to get my religion straight and as unfiltered as a English speaking man can get it and that is from the King James Version. As far as all these people defending Mel Gibson, I just don't get it. Gibson seems a pretty typical Hollywood type. I would tend to believe what some people say drunk may be more reflective of the inner self than what they say sober. I cannot defend what he said, but on the other hand I will not condemn him. So what if Mel Gibson is an anti-semite in a Hollywood that is predominantly anti-Christian.Not since Roy, Hoppy, and Gene have I looked to Hollywood for any type of moral instruction. Politically, morally, and spiritually Hollywood and most of its inhabitants are living in lala land and public hand wringing over Gibson by a man who has the public stature of James Dobson is quite curious to say the least.

This story is becoming yesterday's news, finally. Meantime who is talking about Robin Williams and his 2-year relaspse into alcoholism and treatment now in rehab? I can imagine he's said some colorful and offensive things while drunk, and he says them when he's sober too!

James Dobson Lends Support to Mel Gibson...

but stands firm on his hatred of Tinky Winky and disgust at SpongeBob Squarepants.

The title is WRONG....makes it sound like Dobson is in support of Mel Gibson's drunkeness. Nothing would be further than the truth. Jim Dobson is saying that Mel Gibson's drunk arrest has NOTHING to do with " The Passion" which will go down in history as a all time " classic" film on the diety of Christ!!!!!!
