War On Terror: George Bush and Tony Blair have been ceaselessly lambasted for charting a new course to defend the free world against terrorism. The foiling of the British airline plot proves how right they've been.
But these two leaders have been right all along in recognizing the magnitude of what the civilized world faces, and the extraordinary measures required in defending us against this new threat.
Right there are two areas in which Bush has been attacked: the National Security Agency's international phone monitoring and the Treasury Department's surveillance of international financial transactions. And it's now more obvious than ever that such methods are imperative if terrorist cells are to be stopped before they strike.

I'm ready! :-)
No. He's pretty much on target. There's a raft of "true conservatives" here who want to sit on their ample asses on election day to "teach the Republicans a lesson."
Are you one of those?
If you take the time to search my posts, you will know exactly how I feel.
Of course, maybe that is asking to much. It is so much easier to just react emotionally rather than do actual research.

Hannibal had you pegged.
Direct threats require decisive action and George Bush and Tony Blair have been doing an excellent job.
Agreed. If I read one , I read a hundred and one posts and more during the heady immigration threads of posters saying they would vote third party or stay at home to teach the Republicans a lesson.
President Bush has never needed to be "vindicated." The juvenile, anti-reality Drive By Media, the power-hungry Democrats and the Kos Kids have simply lied, dissembled, and distorted his message that some feel he needs "vindication."
Those of us grounded in ol' boring reality have never doubted. At all.
.
In April 2003,
President BUSH promised in writing...
to over 1,000 Freedom-Loving...
Vietnamese-Americans...
demonstrating in support...
of his bringing Freedom to Iraq:
Freedom's return to...
Communist Vietnam
Communist Cuba
Communist North Korea
as well as
Freedom's arrival to...
All the countries of the Middle East
...during a BUSH Presidency...
...as America's own best self-protection against future terrorist attacks here at home.
This veteran of the first major battles of the Vietnam War never ever thought he'd live long enough to hear a President of the United States promise such wonderment in a new time of war.

I can read. Just check an immigration thread, and you'll find plenty representatives of the PPOF (Perpetually Pissed-Off Freepers).
Good post. "One Issue" conservatives are worthless. Their minds are simply too small to grasp the real world.
Since I have a couple thousand posts here, and you are too damn lazy to get off you fat a$#$#$ and search them, I see no reason to answer.
Well done, Ronnie.
What bug is where the sun don't shine that you can't answer a simple question?
Read any immigration thread on FR.
bump
...it's what? Time for them again...I just took my pills.
Sorry guys, I've got to go or they'll put "the jacket" on me again.
Bush is NOT a conservative. He is a globalist.
I have not agreed with him on immigration, on border control, on trade.
Since this thread is about the WOT, I have steadfastly supported him and Blair on their stance on the WOT, as their unwavering approach has been the correct one.
I do not agree with some tactics on the WOT, such as the PC war being waged in Iraq. But overall, I believe history will prove Bush and Blair generally had the correct approach.
SHAZZAM!
That would appear to be a given.
Just answer my question, sink, I'll give you one more shot, have you conducted a freeper poll?
If you have, post the results.
If you have not, you're only speaking for yourself. You've been around here for a while, havn't you figured that part out yet?
