My son.. who introduced me to Free Republic (who pushed my first computer on me one day.). said he believed Stone had redeemed himself with this movie..I told him it was a good start but I would not go TOO far just because Stone got one right!..
This movie contains not a hint of politics that I noticed, or who did it.It is a story within the much bigger story...One man said "We are at war".
It is essentially the story of two trapped policemen, their families ..of pain, stress, fear, courage and heroes..Of course there is the lead up to the building collapse..I just wanted to go back and "redo the day" so much..so much. That day all floods back to me,too, just as I heard the news.. saw and reacted.
Hmmmm....I haven't been to a movie in years. I might have to see this one. Thanks for the review.
