NEW DELHI (XFN-ASIA) - Two cities in India may be targetted for attack by Al-Qaeda militants ahead of next week's Independence Day celebrations, the US embassy in New Delhi warned.
There may be attacks by Al-Qaeda in 'New Delhi and Mumbai (Bombay) in the days leading to the Independence Day,' embassy spokesman David Kennedy told CNN-IBN news channel.
Kennedy said the information is based on intelligence gathered along with the Indian government.
Serial train bombings in Bombay on July 11, blamed by the government on Islamic militant groups, killed 183 people and injured almost 900.
<< Two cities in India may be targetted for attack by Al-Qaeda militants ahead of next week's Independence Day celebrations, the US embassy in New Delhi warned. >>
God protect and save our every Indian brother and sister from any and all attacks by the manifestation of evil that is al Qaeda.
I guess this was all supposed to be part of the Aug 22th
Iranian "End of the World" celebration.
<< I guess this was all supposed to be part of the August 22 Iranian "End of the World" celebration. >>
I'd surely like to see an end to the Iranians' world.
But why wait?
When it comes to ridding the world of Iranians, August 22 seems such a long time away.
There weren't any last time as far as I can tell.
Most Iranians hate their leadership as much as we do. Why would you rain destruction on them? Why not help them get rid of the loonies that rule?
Would you want all Americans killed if the Dems got back in power?
<< Most Iranians hate their leadership as much as we do. >>
Perhaps that is true. But they all hesperophobically hate us more.
Although I make my remarks able to draw on only combined wealth of a certain intellectual efficiency and my experience of an aggregate ten or fifteen years spent in the Middle East, including Iran, during my several hundred trips into around and, thank G-d, out of that bastion of barbarism.
And maybe you speak with greater authority than I am able to muster?
Or did you read it in a book?
For some reason there seems to be a number of
terrorist busts in the last few days..
I just another article where 2 ME men were caught
with 1000 cell phones and a number box cutters in
a van:

This seems to be part of a larger plan, in my opinion.
So far we have at least 3-4 potential terrorist actions:
1. The london airline bomb plot
2. The Indian-Delhi bomb warning
3. The guys with 1000 cell phones
4. Yesterday's attempted hijacking of an airline in Qatar.
Do you think I am spending too much time on FR???? -hehe
I don't have to invent words or try to be pretentious. I know some Iranians, and I read.
Do you know anything other than the fact that you want to impress us?
We keep doing that (Isreal) and it really bothers me. Who the hell are we to tell other sovereign nations to not defend itself?
We are currently having a government of traitors running the show. The kind of government that will criticize Isreal and keep mum on Hezbollah rocketing the civilians. They are more concerned about the peace process with Pakistan rather than the lives of Indians. I dont care anymore what this government is intending to do about the terrorists. I am just waiting for the next elections to kick those traitors from office.
<< I don't have to invent words or try to be pretentious. >>
You do not, it is true.
But nor do you have to spell that out, for that your vocabulary is limited is obvious to us all and that your pretentiousness comes to you without effort is made clear by your absolute lack of any other than the pretence of either experience or knowledge of that about which you make pronouncements.
Tread very, very lightly there, hoss.
<< Brian loves .... >>
Brian does indeed love, especially you, my dear G-K.
But Brian is not the topic here, which is probably just as well, for apart from your one "even a stopped 24-hour clock is right once per day" observation that I just quoted, I'll bet it is as safe as ever to presume you to be as prejudiced, as lacking in any 'hands-on' practical experience and as ignorant of this thread's topic as you are of every other.
<< Do you think I am spending too much time on FR? >>
Probably you are. But isn't the same true of any intelligent and patriotic American? And especially true of any who have ever read and/or believed in FR's stated aims and ambitions?
Even more especially given that FR has, these past several years, degenerated into litle more than a gathering place for the Euro-peons, the Canadians and other envy-motivated, hatred-engined and rage-driven turd world ne'er-do-wells to hang out and pretend international relevance to one another and to delude one another that their particular sh**-hole -- or red china -- or Timbuktu -- is approaching and/or will one-day or some-day achieve "superiority" over my America.
