I might be going out here on a limb but, I think it is possible Santorum, since he is the #3 repub in the senate, might be aware where some of the leak investigations are going, i.e. leading suspects and pending charges and they lead right to the doorstep of democrats.

ON Fox & Friends this morning they reported that the Pakistanis worked first exclusively with the UK before bringing the US into the loop because they were concerned about all the leaking from the US.

Until The President get tough and puts somebody in jail for life, the leaks will keep on happening!
Not a thing has happened that I've heard of to the organizations and individuals responsible for the recent leaks.

A federal grand jury has been seated in Virginia, the toughest district in the country for nationa lsecurity prosecutions and people have already starting testifying. To do prosecutions correctly, so you when guily verdicts and not acquitals take time. If they rushed prosecutions and lost, the leaks would only get worse.
It is no mistake Senator Jay Rockefeller has been quiet and laying low for a loooooong time, and the bad back operation story is a ruse.

There is speculation that sounds accurate, that he may be trying to avoid a polygraph and testifying before a grand jury. His staffers along with other prominent democrats have been polygraphed. The word from Macranger is that several of them have failed.
