I doubt if you could get a cellphone signal over the Atlantic.

From what I understand, all checked luggage goes through serious scanning machines that can detect explosives. That's the rationale about making everyone put all liquids into their checked baggage.

I just wonder how these machines could detect, for example, Hydrogen Peroxide or Perchlorate. Are they that good?
