"It's five minutes to midnight. The time to strike Iran is now."
We know Bush isn't shy about pulling the trigger - is he waiting 'til after the November elections?

All we have to do now is just wait for the Mike Wallace interview with Ahmadnutjob on CBS. He will no doubt reveal all.

Only one question remains in this potential, global conflict. Who will the Chinese and the Russians... get behind?

Sobering. The more I think about it, the more it seems we and the rest of the covilized world would be better off initiating sooner rather than later.

Thanks for posting. It sums up my thoughts, as well. It may be closer to a minute, or two!

They're going to sit it out and play both sides. China wants to maintian good relations so they'll have access to the oil they need, and Russia wants to increase it's position as a world leader with strong alliances in the mideast.
Neither will even consider open war with us, because from their view, why spend the money when Iran and others will basically do them a favor anyway?

Spot on.
It's too bad Israel hasn't already kicked things off by taking down Assad, Iran's ally.

Only one question remains in this potential, global conflict. Who will the Chinese and the Russians... get behind?I was thinking that months ago. Will we issue nuclear threats and will they issue nuclear threats in support of Iran? Say we need two days of intensive bunker busting bombing to take care of Iran. Will the Russians and Chinese issue nuclear threats when we are into the fifth hour of whacking Iran? This is known as a nuclear umbrella
The real killer diller would be if be bombed Iran's nuclear program on AUG21 one days before the grand pooh-bah Ahmadinejad's big pronouncement

Liberals are fools. For me, America will be secure only when the theocratic regime in Iran is completely destroyed. We will be going to war with Iran. The only question is when we will move to settle accounts with the mad Ahmedinejad, the mullahs and their legions of killer fanatics before they engulf the world into a war that will make World War II look like a Sunday tea picnic. We must act - for the safety of America and soon.

"But Iran is not Nazi Germany" No duh. So why write this drivel?
A comparison of Iran's foreign policy to Cuba's foreign policy would be useful. The similarities are startling. Hopefully we've learned some lessons from our coddling of Cuba.
But NRO is determined to be useless.

Iran.
Generations in the future will read about the global quest for oil, just as those of us who are older remember the 'quest for spices' that we were taught was the reason for the exploration of the 'new world'.

WE NEED TO END THIS HERE AND NOW.
It is becoming obvious that the terrorist will not give up on their objective to create devastation beyond human imagination to bring America down. We could have breaking news tomorrow that Bin Laden and all his surviving lieutenants have been captured or killed, and this will not end it. We need to be sending a very strong message to ALL the Middle Eastern Islamic countries both friend and foe, that this global terrorism better stop Here and Now or else, and there is no weapon in our arsenal that we will not bring out if we deem necessary.
Send a message loud and clear that if they are actively involved in exporting terrorism or even financing terrorism covertly they will pay a heavy price that will last a thousand years.

We have to face the fact that Islam is at it again. Every few centuries or so they feel the need to conquer the infidel and force conversion to their "religion of peace".
