How many of you remember the TERROR IN THE SKIES story that came out in a magazine (Womens Journal) in July 2004 and recently made into a book? It was a huge topic of discussion on freerepublic at the time. It was a womens well documented account about a group of Arab looking men on Northwest Airlines flight #327 that gave passenger and crew the fright of their life. Could that have been a dry run for this same type of terror plot?

I bought the book & read it last night - chilling.
Just re-read this at the link. CHILLING similarities to recent events.
Ashamed to say that I forget all about his one. Unfortunately I am certain I won't be alone in this regard...
Wow. I remember hearing about the incident but never read all the details. This is an absolutely chilling story. And yes, it sounds like they were preparing to carry out the same plot that was foiled yesterday. Thanks for posting the link.

Thanks for posting that. I just read it and it is absolutely frightening.
Her article was the first thing I thought of when this broke yesterday. I think it was a dry run. Which probably means that this is a larger plan than this particular group of people. They may have been doing this as research for any number of people.
I had a similiar experience on a flight from Orlando to Chicago back in July of 2004. When I got home and read this account I was even more 'freaked out.' On that flight I remember trying to figure out what could be used as a weapon. I remember very much thinking if I was going to be killed by terrorists I would die fighting. PS> I just checked my records...it was a NorthWest flight as well.
