Let me simplify for all of you: Saudi Arabia is threatening to cut their oil productions if the US does not YES. Cutting oil production by 1 million barrel means $ 100 a barrel, which means the Democrats will win in November congressional elections, which means the impeachment of President Bush in 2007, and the cutting off the money to fund the troops in Iraq.
If there is a UN reoslution, Israel does not have to abide by it, period.

Brilliant analysis!! I've been wondering what was going on behind the scenes with the Saudi/OPEC "oil weapon"..... that would make sense, though it's so nauseating to think that between OPEC and the vicious Demagogues here, we are "over a barrel" literally.....

Well...what if by saying YES, the GOP loses votes? There will be an impeachment anyway.
President Bush is supposed to be about "staying the course" and not "negotiating with terrorists"...which is what they are doing in this PROXY WAR with Iran.
