Love is a Battlefield
IDF soldier received heart shaped cookie somewhere near the Lebanon border...
This ceasefire resolution is pure garbage. On the bright side, Condi sure did look good giving her speech.
Hey, if your gonna spoon feed the public slop, may as well look spiffy doing it.
Loftus is saying this was a brillant move by Israel, US and Lebanon and isolated the Hezzies.
little past 5:30 in Israel. Wondering if the morning rocket barrage is going to come on schedule today....somewhere between 6:30 and 9....
Based on the terms she talks about, this cease fire sounds more like surrender terms.
am so glad i didn't miss the chichen dance, will sleep better tonight
Olmert's a putz, Israel got what they elected there.
Condi freaked when she got hammered on and then she bought into Qana II. She's been talking out both sides of her mouth ever since.
Bush laid it all out on a silver platter for Olmert, and Olmert weaseled out.
Now it's up to Bush, maybe Blair, maybe Oz.
Iran must pay.
Also, as we've been talking tonight, I'd suggest that while Nasrallah and his minons have been safe in the Iranian embassy this past month, they have to come out at some point, and when they do, they will suffer the same fate as those PLO guys in Munich.
As soon as they leave the Iranian Embassy, they become 24/7 targets.
It just occurred to me...I haven't seen Greg Palkot in a couple of days. Have I just missed him?
Israel surrendered to the UN.
He is really putting his credibility on the line. He says that Hez. will break the peace. Cease fire will not work.
I just got back from eating some fried chicken so I've been out of the loop too. I've recently heard on TV that Israel is still aggressive attacking. One reporter said he heard a large amount of helicopters come over and he had not heard that since the war had started. I think Olmert has put the IDF in a box by telling them they have a short amount of time to get a sizable force to Latani and do as much damage to Hez. as they can. I'm still not buy this ceasefire as lasting more than two weeks, if that.

Listening to Loftus he is claiming that this is a brillant move. Hezzies are sure to break the deal and they will be forced to confront them.
Not so long as Olmert is still in power. Nasrallah is probably feeling on top of the world right now, and with good reason.

Good reminder. God is in control. But I'm with Tx and Mo about this. Iran ultimately wants to hurt Israel, but cannot really do so knowing we would respond with extreme force should they make a move. They have to distract us first, and they'll have to do it in a big way that would cause chaos right here at home. I have no idea if Ahmadblahblah is sane, insane, posturing, or whatever, but he's up to no good.
With big anime eyes......
Sorry you feel that way.
I mapped this out within days after Hamas snagged Shalit, late June, and I've been watching like a hawk ever since.
my opinion of Condi Rice won't change until someone invents a time machine and unsays all I've heard from her mouth since Qana.
You are free to assess as you see fit, but I know what I saw, and I cannot respect it.
Predictions on when this farce of a deal will fall apart?
