I wonder if the US has changed tactics at the UN. What if the US has said "previous resolutions haven't been fulfilled...look at 1559." How many resolutions have the UN ignored? Maybe the US is saying "we can play that game too." Maybe they're going to vote for something that they will not practically support. We'll see.
