I know that Wisconsin is famous for cheese but what sort is it a mild or strong cheese?

All kinds, but I suppose cheddar is the most popular. BTW, speaking of cheddar, I bought some imported British cheddar at the market the other day. It was wonderful, not as sharp as some American cheddars, but creamy and flavorful.

I have to confess that with cheddar I actually prefer Canadian cheddar unless you can get a really strong one.

I visited Cheddar gorge a few years ago and bought some there - that was lovely. I believe it was produced locally and was handmade.

It is shame that Cheddar is so far from London because otherwise I am certain more oversea visitors would go there as it is a very beautiful place and the wonderful caves etc.
