Anderson Cooper of CNN, via The Corner:
While on the Hezbollah side, its really interesting I was in Beirut, and they took me on this sort of guided tour of the Hezbollah- controlled territories in southern Lebanon that were heavily bombed. They are much cruder, obviously. They dont have the experience in this kind of thing. But they clearly want the story of civilian casualties out. That is their what theyre heavily pushing, to the point where on this tour I was on, they were just making stuff up. They had six ambulances lined up in a row and said, OK, you know, they brought reporters there, they said you can talk to the ambulance drives. And then one by one, they told the ambulances to turn on their sirens and to zoom off, and people taking that picture would be reporting, I guess, the idea that these ambulances were zooming off to treat civilian casualties, when in fact, these ambulances were literally going back and forth down the street just for people to take pictures of them.

"THEY WERE JUST MAKING STUFF UP."
I really think Anderson Cooper is a nice guy. Is he a liberal dupe? Yes, sometimes, but its good to know he sees right through these Hezbo b@stards and has decided not to be their media pawn and for that, I'm grateful.
Better be careful or Cooper won't be allowed on any of the hezbollah tours anymore.
I saw that, it's amazing.
I was just so optimistic, Anderson Cooper is a big media darling. Vanity Fair just gave him an incredible long article, and he's infamous for the Angelina Jolie interview.
He doesn't mince words. Let the AP try do contradict him.
This is going to be fun.
How do you tell if a muslim is lying? His mouth is open.
That's what's so incredible about his post. He's too big, especially now, to ignore. And he doesn't leave any room for interpretation.
Don't you just have this image of rats leaving the CNN ship?
I don't know, they were experienced enough to make Andie sit up and beg like a good doggie.
I read that, and can't wait to see her try to get out of this.
I posted another article a few minutes ago:
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1681434/posts
Where the author goes a bit further along the lines of the dog that didn't bark: In none of the footage leaving Hezbulla's screeners is there ONE image of a fighter, a launcher, soldiers, Nothing.
The images are all victim images.
I'm thinking his honesty would not have been so forthcoming had not all the damning info came out about suspect photos.
That being said, why can't all the Lamestream just adapt Cooper's attitude? Cooper's attitude in this case at least because he told it like it was, simply and truthfully.
Go ahead and take the photographs the nutzoids are stageing. But DON'T present them as unassailably true when you know darn well they're not. Take the pictures and give the readers the circumstances of their occurence. Tell the stories the enemy gives but make sure to state the stories are from WHO and what proof you had the story being told was true. AND if it's an editorial, STATE it's an editorial. This used to be Journalism 101.
THIS is the big problem with the Lamestream media and Bloggers et al have to keep banging on them until they straighten up and fly right. The Lamestream pulled the wool over our eyes with that "impartial journalism" mantra just a tad too long. They have no right to make news. They should simply report it.
Each day their reputation erodes. Someone tell them to GET A CLUE.
And some of them are on the payroll of the enemy, somehow and someway. You'll never convince me not.
PLEASE MOVE ALONG FOLKS... NOTHING TO SEE HERE.
What do you think?
I think that the media ediface is crumbling and he's rich enough to take a chance.
You're right, he's no real hero, just a sign of things to come.
Amazing, isn't it? Someone posted the actual video of it on here last night. I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't watched it myself.
I saw the statement.
Anderson Cooper's job might be in danger.
He was just reporting the news...not spinning it per the CNN style manual.
