Unfortunatley you have to click on the PDF link in the Fox article to get the results on the congressional elections, since the rest discuss Cuba, Castro, Israel and other issues. It claims that Dems are leading Republicans 48% to 30% and that the Republican party is viewed unfaborably by 51% and favorably by 38%.

Yes they are.
(A double what) What? What?
FOX merely reports. We decide.
All polls are useless?
Go tell that to Joe Lieberman. Those polls were right.
You folks who don't know jack about polling are amusing in an insanely hysterical sort of way, trollnewbieloser. Stuff your vote.

2004 General Election Results for the GOP: House +3 / Senate +4
So the fact Fox reports a poll means they've sold out to the enemy. What an idiot. Do you enjoy that role or does someone pay you to play it? By the way, Fox is Fox News, not GOP News or the Voice of Conservatism or whatever. Why not have a few liberal analysts? Do you want Fox to be the same piece of biased media that CNN or CBS has been for years? I've seen Newt several times over the past month. Apparently you dont want too often. Maybe you were watching network TV looking for something to be offended by there too.
No, polls done a few days prior to the election showed that Lieberman had closed that gap to 6%. By election day it was 4%. There is no significant difference between polling results of 52-48 and 53-47. What's your beef? Dont you know that polls are only good for the day they are taken? You have to look at the trend and the internals of why people are voting one way or the other.
I presume your post was a dig at me for believing that the GOP is gonna go down in flames this November. All I can say is I believe you'll be singing a different tune the day after election. Over the past 6-8 years, the pubbies have proven themselves unworthy to govern.
It would also take us about 20 years to make up the ground lost in the SCOTUS.
Get a grip!
"Get a grip!"
You're the one who needs to get a grip, my friend.
I have no argument with your contention that Dems would be worse than the Pubbies. All I'm saying is that I think the GOP is gonna get it's clock cleaned come November and to a far right-wing conservative like me, it'll deserve it.
Hell, for the past 6-8 years, I've been unable to tell the difference (especially on spending and the growth of big government) between Republicans and Dummicrats. A pox on BOTH their houses, say I.
Wishful thinking for the left. The liberal commies can not be trusted with our security. I doubt will lose much of anything come November.
Polls are NOT predictions. The only time a poll is a prediction is when it is done immediately before the election, say the weekend before. Otherwise, all they mean is that IF the election were held that day, which it is NOT, this would be the likely result. That is why all these polls being taken now about the election in November are meaningless except for showing the folks that there is a lot work that needs to be done and these are the issues that seem to be important and that can be used to our advantage. That is all you need to know about polling. Now shut up.
If you remember 2004, Kerry peaked too soon and was going down when election day finally arrived. Similar thing happened in the off year elections of 2006.
Think of Jesus...He didn't lose credibility just because He only spoke truth. In fact, He gained followers, the people hungry for truth.
He didn't have to say, "Now, so I won't lose credibility, let's all read from the Koran and pray to Allah..."
One of God's commandments says "Thou shalt not lie." That includes news coverage.
Hey, if you can't refute the facts, I understand. Very few newbies can.
