Joe Lieberman lost by 15%?? No, polls done a few days prior to the election showed that Lieberman had closed that gap to 6%. By election day it was 4%. There is no significant difference between polling results of 52-48 and 53-47. What's your beef? Dont you know that polls are only good for the day they are taken? You have to look at the trend and the internals of why people are voting one way or the other.

Isolated polls mean nothing. Pollsters are often politically motivated and/or complete idiots. Polls are just as often wrong as they are correct and that means they should not be given too much weight.
