Schumer Stranded At Heathrow Airport
(AP) LONDON Among the thousands of frustrated flyers stuck at London's Heathrow Airport today is U.S. Senator Charles Schumer -- a jet-lagged casualty of worldwide delays and cancellations that grounded his family vacation.
Schumer said, "It's a nightmare, everyone's stuck, and our flight is apparently delayed until Sunday."
The New York Democrat and his family arrived at Heathrow Airport at 9 a.m. London time today, but the plane was forced to sit on the runway for two hours before disembarking. When they finally got off the plane, they were greeted with the chaos caused by the arrests in a major international terror plot.
The Schumer family spent eight hours racing back and forth between Heathrow terminals just trying to catch up with their luggage.

Shumer: "It's a nightmare. I haven't been able to jump in front of a camera for almost 12 hours! It's almost unimaginable!"
As if this is a bad thing. His being stranded in the UK.
Less damage he can cause here.
I can't think of a more deserving person. Wonder if it'll turn out that he was on board a plane that would have been attacked.
Welcome to the party pal.
Maybe he could stand for Parliament while he's over there. Then he'd have two places to whine his line of drivel.
Schumer stranded at Heathrow! Now I hope Rove was behind all this.
It may turn out that "illegal" wiretapping may very well have saved Schumer's bacon.
Tell them we'll pay them extra if they KEEP him there. Or can we bribe someone to put him on the No Fly list?
I am fighting the urge to laugh out loud!
Chuckie: But I thought you Dems said there is no threat?
Hopefully, by Sunday his name will appear on the permanent No-Fly list.
"Don't you know who I AM?"
"Nightmare? Suck it up, you puss"
LOL
poor, poor, baby...
(They say every cloud has a silver lining..)
Cry me a river!
Stranded Democrat alert!!!!!!!!!!!
Hey Brits! You can have him ... we don't want him.
