Islam doesn't have to be "used". Islam doesn't have to be "hijacked". Islam really IS a terrorist ideology and always has been. Think of them as the original Marxists.
Thanks for your opinion. Mine is that it's a religion that I don't have much truck with, but it is no more evil than my shoes.
If someone takes my shoes and beats people to death, my shoes aren't evil. They are just inanimate objects.
The fact that only a few extremists are committing evil acts indicates that the religion itself isn't evil. The people that commit evil acts sure are evil, and I think we are better off focusing on them, rather than wasting time fostering hate for a whole religion.
