Lando
I think it would a mistake to label this as the "Big One." It could give too many people the idea that we won this battle, therefore the war is over.
Well, after a couple of months and memories fade people are going to be thinking that anyway.
610 - In Islam, the traditional date of the Laylat al-Qadr, when Muhammed began to receive the Qur'an.
And then you have Aug 22--2 x 11. Silly observation, I know but interesting. I just mentioned all the dates to my husband on Tues. night. A lot of prime numbers but who knows if that could mean anything.
Yeah-yeah-yeah... Now tell us how you really feel...
Smootches, babe.............FRegards
We don't know the details of what was planned, yet. Latest reports suggest perhaps 10 aeroplanes were to be blown out of the sky.
747's can carry about 400 passengers each; do the math.
Still up in Illinois and hope they get the latest Indiana highway snipers before I head back to Floriday.
Egrets Up!

Somebody better pop that nutcase before it's too late.
Interesting, since 11/11 is/was the original "Veteran's Day" (originally named Armistice Day). It was the date on which WWI was ended (the eleventh hour, of the eleventh day, of the eleventh month...)

That is my sister's and granma's birthday. Good day to nuke Mecca. Commence with the bombing.
Tried to use and failed 11 years ago. If Clinton had been more than a frat boy playing at being president, we might have wiped AQ off the planet back then. But such is life.
What really surpises me is that AQ and the Islamofacists do repeat the same tactics over and over and over again, but never exhibit a true overarching strategy. I suspect many of us could think up more efficient and successful ways to wage jihad than constantly going for that one big spectacular.
>>Or even worse, those scary Evangelicals. You know, they're no different than Islamic Fundamentalists.
I'm still amazed by how much of that I see from Lefties, on a neutral political forum I'm on. It came out again, in the wake of this latest event. You ask for specifics, and they trot out the killing of James Byrd and Eric Robert Rudolph's bombings, and act like their actions are condoned and supported by most Christians.
'Don't let Lamont's deer-in-the-headlights look fool'ya... he's got a cable TV background.'
well, that's good enuf for me....he obviously knows more about Foreign Issues and security for our country and should be placed on all the best committees when he is elected... /s
I don't mind this guy suggesting alternate ways to run a war, but he is extremely offensive in his suggestions that the small bit of knowledge he has (when has HE ever been briefed on anything?) is the answer to global terror....
A few less times than... Cindy Sheehan.
