Yes and there is something chilling in the understatements like, "I think we are in for a bit of a scrap with the enemy today sir!" as if it's going to be a school yard fight.
One thing I love about the UK is that no matter what PC there is in society we still have our Special Forces and they don't mess around.

Back in the '70s, my English mother used to complain about the number of Pakistanis that England was letting into the country. I thought she was racist, due to my fine gov't education.
