An Israeli soldier avoids dust as a military helicopter prepares to land on the Israel-Lebanon border August 9, 2006 to evacuate troops injured in fighting in southern Lebanon.
Just reported that two martyrdom tapes were found from those involved with today's UK terrorist story.
Having a cause of war and having the desire to ignite a war as big as that would be are two different things.
What? No DVD? See how 6th century these people are. Sheesh...
casus belli --- my use of that term was partially sarcastic. If I heard it one more time in the lead up to the war with Iraq, I was ready to strangle the person sitting to my immediate left!
"casus belli "
That reminds me of a saying I haven't used since I started my 12 step program :)
Wasnt covered in Gunnery Sgt school either....
What was that about better to keep ones mouth shut and be thought a fool than to open ones mouth and remove all doubt?? :-)
This is true. I just hope when we move I can get my cable modem connection in ASAP...We'll have to swtich providers...our current one doesn't operate in Boise...
"premature evacuation."
I suggest using Die-Agra...improves your shooting. You won't have to evacuate until you're ready.

"...The father of Eslam El-Dessouki, the student arrested in Minnesota, said his son likely wanted to try to find work.
"America is something super. It must have been in his mind to stay where there are plenty of job opportunities. (IsraelNN.com) Meretz Knesset member Ran Cohen has backed the proposed draft for a United Nations Security Council cease fire resolution, and he added that there is no such thing as "a perfect agreement."
He asserted that the proposed cease fire can serve as the "best ladder for us and for the government of Lebanon to climb down from the tree of war." He said he hopes an agreement will lead toward negotiations with Syria and Lebanon.

Former FM Shalom: Cease Fire Draft Fatal Mistake
23:07 Aug 10, '06 / 16 Av 5766
(IsraelNN.com) Likud Knesset Member Silvan Shalom, a former Foreign Minister, asserted Thursday night that the proposed draft for a United Nations cease fire resolution will leave residents of northern Israel "hostages" to Hizbullah leader Hassan Nasrallah.
"Not disarming Hizbullah is a tremendous prize to extremists in the Arab and Muslim world and a death blow to moderates," he added. MK Shalom said that there is no value to the proposed agreement because it is not conditioned on the return of two IDF soldiers kidnapped by Hizbullah July 12.
