An Israeli soldier avoids dust as a military helicopter prepares to land on the Israel-Lebanon border August 9, 2006 to evacuate troops injured in fighting in southern Lebanon.
Chicago police detained Ahmed Mohamed Mohamed Abou El Ela, 22, at OHare International Airport as he was attempting to book a flight to Montana, the FBI said. Immigration agents later took El Ela into custody.
I know....I have had to bite my fingies at times..to keep the bad words from flowing through them...
Luckily the admin moderators are pretty good about letting a "slip" once in a while go.
Yeppers...the fear of my hijacking this thread was just TOO AWFUL>
My personal prediction:
Just like the "cessation of fire" joke, Hezbolloh will not disarm.
Yes it is and we all have Burbank Karl to thank for starting this.
This thread is my security blanket and is always open. I have 11 links, at the moment, opened across my tool bar. I use Firefox. This thread is always top left and wil1 remain there.
I reboot my laptop every few days and the Mideast Thread immediatley takes it's respected position, Top Left link.
This thread would be harder to discard than Michael Keaton's old shirt in the movie, Mister Mom. Like I previously stated, this thread is my security blanket and I'm entirely too old to need one. I lurk, therefore I am. :)
Thanks BK, you know many, many FReepers search for this thread first.
:)
going to lunch now.
LOL...if it happens again...I may have to borrow it as a tagline, at least.
"WOW...I have the whole thread to myself...what kind of mischief can I get into........."
We're out here, watching you, you just can't see us;)
you are probably right, Hizbullah won't disarm, but that won't keep Olmert from signing on to a cease fire.
Why do they never give an explanation on how and why these 11 split up and went to different places? They've so far been found from Minnesota to Maryland with no explanation.
The enemy, as we all understand, doesn't give a rip about whatever they work out. And as part of the enemy, we have to count the enablers of Hezbollah...far too many of the Lebanese - even the ones not members of it.
LOL...yes, they have to save up all day I guess...and then the wisdom just makes this thread percolate..and I can't keep up with it...
Today, I am just chatting with myself a lot...
YOU are very right...and that is one reason why Tom Delay got in trouble...too many House members lost their jobs to redistricting..
And one, Chris Bell, after he lost his seat...but before the changeover, filed several ethics complaints against Delay in the House Ethics committee...
He is also running for Gov. of Texas, last I saw....LOL
Glad to hear you are stocked up, roomie!
So the problem is more complex than you'd think.

I will make myself useful while I am threadsitting..here's a new one.
On that thread I just posted...be sure and notice that Khameni is calling out the Bisijis (sp)...
Those were the kids that were sent ahead of troops to set off landmines..IIRC.
D*mn!! Just looked in MY closet.
It threw up all over the floor!!! ;^)
And they should have lost them. Texas was a Republican State, clearly, but for years the Dems held a sizable majority of House seats. And for changing that, DeLay had to be destroyed.
