WASHINGTON, Aug. 9 /U.S. Newswire/ -- Yesterday's results reconfirm what recent polls have shown: the American people soundly reject President Bush's failed leadership and don't trust Republicans to do the people's business. In an act of desperation, national Republicans resorted to divisive propaganda in the wake of yesterday's primaries. Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean issued the following response to the most recent Republican spin:

"Republicans can try to spin their propaganda, but the truth is Republicans are out of touch with America and the November elections will be a referendum on George Bush's failed policies," said Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean. "The American public does not trust Republicans to take care of the people's business. And why should they given what George Bush's policies have done to America? The majority of Americans think the war in Iraq was a mistake.

Did Dean and the Dems ever think that maybe if they had actually got onboard and stayed onboard this effort to battle terrorism and democratize the Middle East, and not aided and abetted those we are fighting against, we might have been able to make a helluva lot more progress than has already been made?

No, I didn't think so. Oh well, at least we now know who the true enemies are of freedom and liberty here and abroad.

Say Howie. IF the Primary, in which only Democrats could vote, was a referendum on GW Bush, why did 48% of your Democrat Base vote FOR the President and against YOUR leadership?

The majority of Americans think the war in Iraq was a mistake.

That's a talking point devoid of facts.

A new direction? Where? Toward Stepford through Gattica? In a wraithmobile?

I'm not clear how a Democrat primary is a rejection of Republican policy. But trying to make sense of Dean's statements is a fool's errand.

If Dean is correct, why is the Independant Lieberman crushing the other two candidates in polls on the general election? Mandate shamdate.

I'm not clear how a Democrat primary is a rejection of Republican policy.

They've portrayed Lieberman as too much like the President with regards to the war in Iraq, which was the singular issue driving the moonbats in Connecticut to the polls yesterday. All that other social engineering garbage touted by Lamont was gobbledygook spewed forth to fool those who were still straddling the fence to vote for Lamont.

48% of Conn. dem voters supporting Joe shows a growing schism within the rat party. Now spin that in your patented Yankee Squealer, Howard Dean.

The war in Lebanon, and the Lieberman defeat. have given the Republicans a golden opportunity to decimate the Democrats in November. One message: Leave Iraq, and allow an Iranian super terrorist state to appear overnight in the Middle East, with Al-Sadar playing the equivalent role HezEUbola leader Nasrallah is playing in Lebanon, with icing on the yellow cake nightmare. The Republicans need to hammer this message home over and over until the sane American people "get it".

Dean and the kook-fringe Democrats shouldn't be overly jubilant going up against the likes of Rove and President Bush, who are both great political chess players. Alot of stuff can happen between now and November, and there's always an "October surprise" to consider.

The Democrats have become unmasked and already appear to be overplaying their hand.

All Democrat talking points are devoid of facts. DIMs repeat them ad nauseum and come to believe them as facts themselves. Then they think because they have convinced themselves they are facts, that everyone else will believe them.

Put another way. DIMs believe themselves to be superior and smarter. Thus, it is only logical that we believe what they tell us to be true. Once they have convinced themselves something is fact, logic dictates that we the sheeple must also believe. Natural law.

It's only logical considering the fact that in recent years, Democrats have gone out of their way to portray average, sane, "fly over country" American's as plebes in the cog of life, racists, sexist, bigoted, homophobic, backward, stupid, and incompetent.
