Williams Mocks Limbaugh, Drug Addiction

Fair warning for those that are sensitive to vulgarity, for this post will need to use some to properly quote the individual involved. Comedian Robin Williams was on the "Tonight Show" Thursday, and used the occasion to make fun of Rush Limbaugh's recent Viagra incident. To be sensitive to those that might be offended, all obscene quotes will appear in the "Read More" section.

Now, to be fair, I am a huge Robin Williams fan, and believe him to be an equal opportunity offender. Even Rush, who has a fabulous sense of humor, likely would think this was funny (video link to follow).

With that in mind, host Jay Leno nicely set up Williams by asking for his opinion about the recent Viagra story concerning Limbaugh. Williams answered: "First of all, it seems a little redundant for him to take Viagra. You know, the fact that he takes it he gets taller. (audience laughter)"

Williams continued: "I mean, why do you need Viagra? It's a hard thing when he's a big prick already. (huge audience applause)"

Next, Williams moved on to more drug references: "Where was he staying in the Caribbean? Club Medicated?"

From there, the discussion moved into a homosexual theme after Leno mentioned that Rush was down there on an all boys vacation. Williams responded: "That's code. What do you need to take Viagra on an all boys vacation?"

Williams then suggested that Rush was in the Caribbean to go "fly-fishing" as he pretended to use his nether regions as a rod and reel.

You're correct.....but I was commenting about liberals' political humor of today. They just don't make me laugh. They can be clever with words, but they're too nasty, vulgar, grim and bitter. Sorry I didn't make myself clear.

The great comedians always had a good time when performing. They could make us laugh along with them.....and they could laugh at themselves.

Robin Williams is pretty much a "one note" Actor. If you have seen him in one movie, you have pretty much seen him in all of his movies. He is mentally ill and made some bucks off of it till now.He is wound pretty tight and the threads are starting to unravel.About 2 minutes is about all that I can stand at any one time...Personally I wouldn't cross the road to watch a movie that he is the star in.

I know a lot of younger comics and Robin is surprisingly unpopular with them. Nothing at all to do with politics. They say he notoriously hacks material and doesn't bother to deny it.

Thanks, I wondered where he'd been born. He went to Highschool in Marin, his family resided there. I don't know at what point his family moved there.

Chicago? I had no idea he'd been born in the Windy City.

Robin Willilams is a comedian.

The Rush Limbaugh-viagra story was funny.

Don't you think those two things are related?

Robbin Williams stopped being funny after Good Morning Vietnam.

Ron "Tater Salad" White, now he's funny.

You must be thinking of someone else cause I don't see any simularities in these characters Williams has played

Popeye in Popeye ,
Rainbow Randolph  in Death to Smochie,
Sy Parrish in One Hour Photo,
Sean Maguire Good in Will Hunting,
Armand Goldman in The Birdcage ,
Mrs. Doubtfire in Mrs. Doubtfire ,
Adrian Cronauer in  Good Morning, Vietnam
