A Palestinian militant fires toward Israeli troops during an arrest raid in the West Bank village of Qabatiyeh near Jenin, Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2006. Four Palestinians were wounded when the army arrested an Al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades militant, Palestinians sources said. The army said two Islamic Jihad militants were arrested during the operation. M4's tend to spit them out sideways when they have the brass deflector that is part of the weapon. On old M16's you had to insert a brass deflector, now you don't need one if you are a lefty.
It looks like it could also be a gray magazine with ribs on it.
The difference in sharpness could be due depth of focus. Or perhaps motion. Though in the latter case you'd expect the gun at least to have as much motion relative to shutter speed.
I looked at it magnified greatly and don't see obvious pasting. If it is a composite it's much better done than some of the others we've seen.
It looks like there could be an ejected shell above the breech. I don't know what the black splotch below the shooters left hand is though.
And people cry when the smiling kids in the background die? Not me. They are future Jihadis, the earlier they die the better for everyone.
If you question my thought process on that, remember, they are laughing and cheering this man shooting at the Isreali forces. Just like they laughed and cheered at 9/11. These 'children' are the same 'innocents' dying in Lebanon.
They are as complicit as the shooter.
Ah, that's what I was wondering about. It does look like a grip. Thanks..
Looks real enough for me. There's an ejected cartridge visible just above the yellow emblem on the rightmost guy's shirt. There's smoke from the muzzle blast visible at the barrel end. The grooved magazine is visible in the narrow gap where the shooter's left arm crosses the receiver.
I think the lighting problems just indicate they need a better light guy or maybe a few more stage lights. IMHO
Not just their photos, but their words too.
There are plenty of faked and staged photos out there, but this one seems real enough. I'd shoot these monkey boys, kids and all, if I had the shot. Glad I'm not in the Army anymore.
You really get an insight into their mindset.
It looks like the scene at my house when I drag out the potato launcher and fire spuds 200 yds over the trees down back.
My kids reactions to that party favorite is the same, except that there aren't angry, well trained Isreali's in the woods poised to wipe me out with an RPG.
IMO, these people are asking for whatever comes down range.
