Take a close look at the above photo. (Pay close attention to his shorts, his dustless chest, muscular torso, the dust on his hands, and the hat tucked in the crook of his arm.) You've probably seen the image before. It was part of a NYTimes photo essay series published online here. It's an iconic image of Lebanese death at the hands of Israel--even described as the Lebanese pieta.
Snip
Only guess what? The body depicted "buried under the rubble" appears to have been up and walking in the photographer's photo series of the scene throughout the day as a rescuer, not a bombing victim.

Amazing! I'm going to go look for some fake pictures of suffering Israelites -- oh, wait, there are no pictures of suffering Israelites. I hate to say this but it's beginning to look like the media is not being completely honest with us.

Theyre burning tires.Yup. Tires burning, NOT "Tyre's burning."

The media have been pulling stunts like this for decades. Dan Rather's forged documents and these ham-handed Photoshop jobs are just the tip of the iceberg.

Reuters . . . the New York Times . . . A.P. . . . US News & World Report - some of the biggest names in the MSM show themselves to be gullible (or willing?) conduits for transparent Hezbollah propaganda, and are shown up by the pajamadeen. I love it. And the MSM continue to thump their chests about their self-proclaimed professionalism, and look down their noses at the very bloggers who expose the MSMs stupidity.
To: Steve_Seattle
More than willing.
The cover also notes "Hezbollah fighter near Beirut."
It should have said " Staged photo near Dump where Tires are burning."

I've learned from using references for my faithmouse cartoon that online photographs are usually always presented too dark. There's a wealth of detail in most photos if you just lighten them up a little, as I've done with the two above.
Looks like the same fellow to me as well. It also looks as if he's carrying a camera bag in the first photograph.
