(IsraelNN.com) The day after it was revealed that a Reuters News Agency doctored photographs to show an anti-Israel bias, the news service incorrectly reported Tuesday afternoon that the IDF bombed a funeral procession in Lebanon.
Reuters has corrected without apology its earlier story that the IDF strafed a funeral procession and updated the report to state that the bombs struck a village at the same time the funeral was taking place, adding that "the air strike was not in the immediate vicinity of the funeral
Are we even sure that Reuters News Agency is really named Reuters News Agency?
I was trying to be funny. I was replying to another post from someone who couldn't speak english...
The first?
"Not just Reuters. As I mentioned in another post, NBC carried the same story, complete with footage of wailing veiled woman."
Thanks for the info. and not surprising.
I'm sorry that I misjudged you.
That's okay, it happened earlier today and I was in a hurry and I think I was replying to two similar threads, and this id10t who barely spoke English said something stupid, and I think I got mixed up and replied bas-ackwords. So whatever I said on the other thread probably made even less sense. Although it is all still rather humorous, even if the joke is on me.
Oh, now I get it. LOL! Glad that's all it was. :0)
Is Reuters imploding?
It seems the AP, NYT and Reuters are being eaten alive with the truth.
The problem with mainstream media journalists is that they think the reason people rely on them for information is because they're stupid and don't know better.
72 Scarface ladies at once!! Allahu Crowbar!!! or whatever. (sarcasm)
Reuters are really busy aren't they? It must be hard to keep up with what is a doctored photo and what isn't. A day without a Reuters forgery is like a day without sunshine these days.
I am hereby throwing down the gauntlet of photoshop challenge: Scarface lady, Baghdad Bob, Green Helmet Guy, Mother Sheehan AND Fidel "Blood & Butts" Castro in one (or more) Reuters-worthy pictures. Please, for the sake of our funny bones, GO for it. LOLOL
Sheesh.
