You just do not get it do you. Tom Delay does not want to be in Congress anymore. I thought that he had made that patently obvious. He has moved to Virginia to either become a lobbyist or a political consultant. After he lost his leadership position, he lost his love for his seat.
Oh I get it just fine.
And I say that if the voters in DeLay's district overwhelmingly wrote in his name, essentially drafting him back into his Congressional seat, that DeLay is enough of a patriot to honor the wishes of his constituents. DeLay will answer the call, if the call is made. If not, he better quickly make one of those "if nominated I will not run, if elected I will not serve" statements and absolutely slam the door.
But I don't think he'll do that. He's watching. He's paying attention.
I hope he lurks here on FR.
