Roads entering Mexico from Cuernavaca, Pachuca and Puebla are FREE as of 730 am this a.m. People using turnpikes have free access, thanks to the PERREDISTAS who now have control of government toll booths.

Sounds to me like the GOVERNMENT is not 'governing' and this is a mini version of some kind of an anarchy. This stuff could spread unless some serious measures are taken. Someone is going to get hurt, and someone to be blamed.

I thought a hostage by definition had to be human.

How does one hold a toll booth hostage? I can see how it would happen to the toll taker.

Not only that, but how do toll booths enter Mexico city? Every one I ever saw seemed to want to stay where it was.

The toll booths are just token hostages.

Oh if only to rake in the profits from the toll booths for even just a day. Dream on.
