I echo your post. There will be no "coming together" when the next attack happens. The Left storming the White House is a more realistic scenario. Some of them pray to their various gods for another attack. The rest want to "talk" to our enemy.

I've been reading Horowitz's book and for all he trys to explain the American left...I just don't get how they could ever support and defend Islam. And yet they do whole heart. I don't get it. The betrayal of the American Left to the values of the United States is far more terrorizing to me than a terrorist cell, because it steals the mind of free thinking individuals.

You are making the somewhat unwarranted assumption that there will be a White House to storm, or a Capital for the Loony Left to hold their hearings in. More likely there won't be. The CongressCritters and other political types might survive, given that this is end of summer recess time and most are out in the districts, or on fully funded "fact finding" visits to choice vacation spots outside the country.
