The FBI alerted state and local authorities Monday to be on the lookout for 11 Egyptian exchange students who arrived in the U.S. last month but never showed up for class.

Here we go again. Thanks, INS, State Dept., FBI, DHS . . . .
How old are these students? Have they traveled to Syria or Iran for 'training'? 11 Egyptians traveling around together would be fairly noticeable. Hey, FBI, maybe they're driving ice cream trucks in Lodi, California.
We're bending over backward to avoid offending Egypt.
Has anyone thought that the Egyptians may be following the path taken by Sayyid Qutb, Ayman al-Zawahir, Sheikh Omar Abdel Rahman and countless other Egyptian jihadists who used trips to the United States to collect charitable funds for and preach Jihad? Or that they might be following in the path of the Egyptian bombers who surfaced from Peshawar to Albania to Nairobi? That a couple of Egyptian "students" might not show up on campus is one thing; that eleven did not, is entirely another!
"We're bending over backward to avoid offending Egypt."
Sounds more like we're bending over forward to pick up Egypt's soap.
RE: Post 36
Well said, and it hits the nail on the head.
18-22 years old.
Okay, but how will I know when I see one?
Unfortunately they want to do "work" at 9/11. :(
I know a woman who was once married to a leader at the local mosque (same mosque associated with the Holy Land Foundation shut down by the FBI as a terrorist front).
She said that it was very common for Muslim women to serve as 'mules' bringing valuable gems into the U.S. by taping them under their breasts and not wearing bras. No one in airport security would dare demand the women be searched due to political correctness.
Ugh..."steal" should be "steel".
Someone remind me again why we are allowing Egyptian students to come to the U.S. to study?
Nothing in this article supports your conclusion.
Conversely, my 76 year old mother-in-law who is about grandmotherly as a woman can be, was traveling with my husband a couple of years ago and at the airport she, of course, went through security. They weren't satisfied, so she was pulled aside and they used the bar on her. Still not satisfied, they took her into a room and searched again. She then was asked to take her blouse off so they could visually inspect her further. Well, she told them no way was that going to happen. She said either she was getting on that plane now, or she was going home. The just told her to enjoy her flight and proceed to the gate. She grabbed her walker and off she went. But boy, was she ticked. We're lucky we didn't have to bail her out of jail for assaulting the guy with her purse.
Great Picture!
He will look guilty and avoid eye contact.
