Hezbollah fired its deadliest rocket barrage Sunday on Israel, killing 12 Israeli reservists and three civilians. I think the broader questions is: What's wrong with the ability to fight a war against an enemy/terrorist? Is it more difficult for those who value life than for those who worship and wish for death/martyrdom? Such questions must be answered before our enemies are defeated; and a defeatist attitude certainly isn't the answer.

Worse yet would be "Oh, what are we going to do now" while wringing hands.

"Reuters has corrected without apology its earlier story that the IDF strafed a funeral procession"

The MSM is a worse enemy than the terrorists. I just can't believe some on the revelations that are occuring regarding their reporting. And I am sure this is just hte tip of the iceberg.

I sure hope that Rush, Sean, BOR, Larry Elder and every other conservative talker stays on these stories and rides them until the MSM begs for mercy.

Abha (Arabic: ÃÈåÇÇáÈåíå) is the capital of Asir province in Saudi Arabia, population 201,912 (2004 census). It is situated at 2,200m (7,200ft) above sea level in the fertile mountains of south-western Saudi Arabia near the National Park of Asir. Its mild climate makes it a popular tourist destination for Saudis.

Well..the playbook for these people spells out their intent to take America down from within...using our own laws against us.

They seem to be doing that in this article...buying land, owning guns, nothing wrong there, legally.

What's the thinking there about Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki's latest statements?

We think he said those things because he can't be seen as alienating his fellow Shiites. It's all political. One of the Iraqis said Maliki would be slammed no matter what he said, so he's trying to play it safe.

However, the reason he is in and Jaafari is out is because Jaafari's ties to Sadr and Iran were too close. This kind of stuff could get Maliki into trouble. He's on a slippery slope with this. I don't envy him, that's for sure.

I wouldn't be surprised if he received a phone call from President Bush or Condi Rice or someone high level about these remarks.

And we'd probably never hear about it.

http://www.eapoe.org/works/poems/israfela.htm

Edgar Allen Poe

ISRAFEL.

ISRAFEL.

————

I.

In Heaven a spirit both dwell

Whose heart-strings are a lute —

None sing so wild — so well

As the angel Israfel —

And the giddy stars are mute.

II.

Tottering above

In her highest noon

The enamoured moon

Blushes with love —

While, to listen, the red levin

Pauses in Heaven.

* And the angel Israfel who has the sweetest voice of all God's creatures. — KORAN.

III.

And they say (the starry choir

And all the listening things)

That Israfeli's fire

Is owing to that lyre

With those unusual strings.

IV.

But the Heavens that angel trod

Where deep thoughts are a duty —

Where Love is a grown god —

Where Houri *glances are ——

— Stay! turn thine eyes afar! —

Imbued with all the beauty

Which we worship in yon star.

V.

Thou art not, therefore, wrong

Israfeli, who despisest

An unimpassion'd song:

To thee the laurels belong

Best bard, — because the wisest.

VI.

The extacies [[ecstasies]] above

With thy burning measures suit —

Thy grief — if any — thy love

With the fervor of thy lute —

Well may the stars be mute!

VII.

Yes, Heaven is thine: but this

Is a world of sweets and sours:

Our flowers are merely — flowers,

And the shadow of thy bliss

Is the sunshine of ours.

VIII.

If I did dwell where Israfel

Hath dwelt, and he where I,

He would not sing one half as well —

One half as passionately,

And a stormier note than this would swell

From my lyre within the sky.

* Houri is the proper name for the virgins who await the islamic "martyrs"

It is quite possible this is a code sent using koranic references using a "singing" performance as the trigger.

They won't. they will blame the dastardly Bush Administration for fanning the flames of hate since 2002.

All attacks on the USA will be retaliatory in the opinion of muslims, the democratic party and the MSM.

It will be an excuse to not answer any attack on our people...to test their stupid theory that we should all be able to get along.
