You have to expect impeachment to happen if the Democrats take control of Congress, whether there's merit to it or not.

It would be worth it if he got thew War Powers Act before the SCOTUS and they swatted it down.

I agree. Since the MSM is keeping this impeachment notion pretty much "under wraps", I bet many Americans have no idea that this is in the works. I also think they would think that such an idea would be ridiculous. Although GWB is not perfect and has made mistakes during the last six years, most Americans (except the rabid, Moonbat Bushaters) think he is an honest, congenial man who has done the best job that he could in the face of many huge challenges.

Only two POTUS have been impeached (Andrew Johnson and Clinton) in the entire history of the Republic. It should not be taken lightly and used as a "tit for tat" you impeached our POTUS, so we'll impeach yours. I personally think that the impeachment of Clinton was justified on the grounds that he clearly lied under oath. The sad thing is that many of his even more impeachable offenses have been covered up by the drive-by media and the Democrats. On the other hand, the case that Conyers is trying to make for the impeachment of GWB is based on wild speculation and outright lies.

May I correct?

The sad thing is that many of his even more impeachable offenses have been covered up by the drive-by media and the Democrats. were ignored by gutless Republicans.

" There's a war going on."

True. The other side thinks it's just a political ploy though, not a war. After all, to them, life is just one political ploy after another.

Once they regain power, It'll be a war. And the only way to win a war and a Nobel Peace prize is appeasement. Lasting peace is entirely beside the point.

Don't really know, it's not like it would be easy. It's not as if demokkkrats lived in some states and normal people lived in others.

Oh, I expect it all right. Nothing surprises me anymore.

When the Democrats and Al Gore tried to steal the 2000 Elections, I really could not believe it. It seemed that America had turned into a banana republic over night. I could not believe they would be that blatant and evil.

But, for a party that not only tolerates, but celebrates, cutting innocent babies to pieces in order to sacrifice them to the idols of convenience and feminism - nothing should surprise us.

I find it interesting that a Congressman that is elected and paid to represent the people is using articles from a newspaper as cited references to suggest we should impeach the President. I've seen Republicans cite newspapers as well. So, newspapers know more about what is going on than the people running the government? Can't think or investigate on their own?

Shouldn't the standard be a little higher? What does Fred Barnes calling Sheehan an idiot on a TV show carry as weight in a matter like this?

Unfortunately, I have to pose these as rhetorical questions, the facts are plain to see.

Honestly, I don't see how our political system can survive such attitudes. Our system depends upon accepting the other fellow won and gearing up for the next election. This constant investigating, impeaching is tiresome and dangerous.

I believe the impeachment of Clinton was justified, but it should not have been done. We knew the Senate would not vote to convict. It was a waste of money and time.

I basically agree with that position also. It ended up allowing the Dems and the MSM to present the Republicans as "mean-spirited" and actually caused the public to dismiss all of Clinton's misconduct in office as "just politics". Perhaps censure would have been more appropriate as well as more realistic.

I think censure would have been a good idea also.
