There is a curse placed upon those who do this. Yet another reason why the 1000 Year Reich came up quite a bit short.

"Raiders of the Lost Arc" was, of course, fiction, but we do know Hitler was looking for "Aryan artifacts" and occult objects to create a "religion" of Nazism to legitimize the historical roots of his Reich. Watching the scene in Raiders where the crack open the Arc, you really understand Spielberg's accurate representation of the Nazi mindset that viewed the power of God like it was a ray gun...you bend it to your will and use it like a tool. What human arrogance! It never occurred to them that the God who created the Arc did so to direct and protect His People, and that opening it up would be a phenomenally stupid thing.

The Hezzbullies have figuratively "opened the Arc" and are reaping a whirlwind of destruction that they never imagined. It's not Armageddon, but is another cycle of violence and hatred against God's original people that will one day bring it about.
