New Unit has Developed the Armys New Iraq Strategy
The newest unit for Operation Thank You is the Pathfinder Company of the 5th Battalion of the 101st Airborne Regiment. The 60 members of Pathfinder Company are deployed to Central Operating Base Speicher near Tikrit, Iraq, and have developed the Armys newest strategy in dealing with the Terrorists targeting US Troops and the civilians supporting the new Iraqi government.

Well I understand! We have one that spent a year outside Baghdad and has reenlisted and is now in Airborne school.

Bless him. Will keep him in my prayers:) It's HOT in Georgia in August!
In point of FACT the 101st is Air Assault- the don't jump from planes the way the 82nd and 173rd do..they rappel from choppers.

The Pathfinder Company is an Airborne unit. The rest of the 101st are legs except for their LRSD unit.
