Sad but true, hard to believe in the year 2006 we can still have as many religious nut cases around yet we do.
These Beavus and Butthead types that still linger around yearning for some kid who fell into a well 1,000 years ago to be resurrected and come "make their day" need to be eliminated. And once again at the risk of sounding like a broken record, the ones to do it are "their friendly muslim(the "moderate muslims" don'tcha just know) neighbors" who probably have had just about enough of their BS by now.
It's one thing for a foreign military to go into a country and engage in vermin elimination for it's own sake but to really get the job done you need the locals pointing out just where all the hidden ant hills are.
Matthews is such a spinner/cry baby for the DBM he's hard to take seriously any more.
Our polling stations are either schools or church halls. Ours is a church hall.
We sometimes combine local and national elections but normally it is just the national election which obviously must cut down the time taken.
Last general election it was county elections as well but not local council elections they were held at a separate date.
Maybe you need to look at holding the elections at different times if that is possible or do the rules not allow for this.
Former, no. Khomeini was alive at the time. Iran is the home of militant, Islamic fundamentalism and the world's biggest state sponsor of terrorism. They have used for amost 30 years asymetrical warfare against its enemies. In the interest of their own survival, they recognize that direct confrontation was not the best course of action. The WOT won't be won without regime change in Iran.
FYI: I consider the President of Iran be a current, not former, terrorist. He is also a puppet of the mullahs. His pronouncements have created the perceived external threat to Iran to create a diversion from the regime's domestic troubles and it has had the effect of raising oil prices pouring more money into the mullah's coffers.
Disgusting watching Stpehanopolis and his panel of sickos cheerleading for the defeat of both America and Israel.
Well naturally they'd all understand it and blame America for bringing it upon itself. Except for the leftists in DC, who wouldn't be available for comments!
I hope you say that in jest. Our candidate is going to do good to get 10% in a three way race. The only reason he's the candidate is no one else would take the role.
I would love to see who gets to edit those comments they would never ever dare let what Ann says get out, I can assure you...unless their numbers get soooo low.. then who knows.
What did Jefford do?
Jeffords represented a one vote margin for the republicans. He switched parties and handed control of the Senate to Daschle.
The man disgusts me. I have no sympathy for him at all.
Ha! You're really good at typing what, in my mind anyway, is that lisping voice Rush uses when he imitates a lefty!
Good grief!
Here is the problem with the "What if" game we are playing. What if Adolf of Tehran is a bluff? He is the Mullah's stodge, appointed at their will, can me removed whenever they like. What if they put him out there to scare the weak decedent West into caving on the diplomatic front? We can try reading the tea leaves all we want but making these sort of predictions of enemy intent is really a lot harder to do then it seems.
We can agree that yes, we DO not want them getting the bomb. However, HOW we achieve that is lot more complicated then it seems. Take for instance, do we have the US political consensus to take military action against Tehran?
I think not. I think the American people, a good chuck of whom are mostly convinced by the Party of Sedition that we should not be in Iraq, is NOT going to be so quick to support action against Iran. To build that concerns the President is going to have to jump thur a number of diplomatic hoops to prove he "isn't going cowboy". As we are seeing diplomacy is SLOoooowwwww.
