Reign, Reuters issued a kill order on the pic. What more do you need?I'm not arguing that the photo wasn't faked, and badly. The only point in contention, on which I might be a minority of one, is that the evidence doesn't point to a political agenda.
The GIF you posted as evidence that the photo was doctored to make it more lurid did not compare the doctored August 5 photo to the undoctored one-- it compared the doctored photo a completely different one from July 26.

Yes I have Photoshop and can deconstruct it and make it smokier and more realistic, and I'm but an amateur, Now my oldest daughter could out a realistic mushroom cloud looming on the "original" and make it look more realistic than either the "fake" or the "original".
