IIRC, furing the first Gulf War, we had 20 or so National Guard troops killed when an Iraqi SCUD landed on their mess area...tragic..it's the golden BB

We won't hear international condemnations of this atrocity. The Eurotrash and the Vatican will remain silent. After all, they're Jews. Hezbollah is not going to be held to high moral standards, you see. Every one expects this sort of thing from Arabs. Its a good link to Mark Steyn's discussion about "disproportionality" this morning. No one seems to raise the charge when Israelis are the victims. How convenient.

Arabs think they're winning (the MSM and CNN say so 24/7), and they won't stop until Israel is obliterated. That's the bottom line. No more Israel. Any cease-fire has to be looked at in that light, and to think otherwise is insane. Hezbollah/Iran/Syria will use the time to rearm with longer range rockets, etc.. They'll have WMD's ready to go, and at some point, boom. The next target is the US. It's all connected, like being circled by a pack of wolves. They'll probably blow up something in the US to soften any lingering support for Israel.

And yet it seems as if Olmert has still not given the IDF ground forces license to go deep enough into Lebanon to clean out most of the short range rocket launchers.
What ever happened at the latest cabinet meeting? Are the Israeli's going to do what needs to be done and march to the Litani River? Without the ability to seize a significant security zone, there is simply no way the IDF can stop these rocket attacks.
It strikes me that Olmert has led quite badly through this war so far.

I was blown away at that headline. Of course then I saw the "Israel News Agency". You'd never NEVER see a headline like that from AP, Reuters, et al.

Maybe the Israelis need to hire the Green Helmet Guy. Then they might get some good pictures the Western Press will finally run in outrage about the Israeli civilian casualties?

Our liberal dominated press will not give fair coverage to this story. They are not ethical in their balance and continue to move across the dividing line where they become supporters of our enemies. Journalists used to consider themselves to be seekers of truth and to have a responsibility to the public to offer all the facts and varied points of opinion. But when the media is so dominated by one political viewpoint, they betray that mission and lose credibility.

A reporter on Fox News just analyzed this incident using the following words, "This is likely to energize Hezbollah. They will consider this a lucky strike, a great victory"
So let me get this straight: When Israel accidently kills 28 civilians, it is a great tragedy and a massacre. But when Hezbollah kills 14 civilians, it is a lucky strike and an energizing victory. And this is from Fox!

Literally flatten every town in South Lebanon and it will eliminate the areas the terrorist can run to after they fire their rockets.

If the media wasn't so "heck bent" on lying, and doing everything in the media's power to 'aid and comfort' the enemy, the war on terror would be so much easier to win.
