I found this post, where BillyBob claims without qualification that he coined the term, and where he once again pegs his first usage to 2003, at least 4 years after it was already in use on the net...Algore, is that you??:

I was the one who first started using the phrase "lamestream" media, here on FR about two years ago. But MSM has caught on and is now the standard.

Since your text searching of FR posts is obviously superior to mine, which I freely concede, you tell me exactly when I first used the phrase "lamestream media" on FR, or anywhere else. And while you're at it, please describe the search methods you used, so others can replicate your work.
