Really screws up the shooting star watches.

Perseid showers are coming in a few days, but looks like the moon will interfere this year. I saw a couple last night around midnight, but the current short window between moonset and sunrise will disappear before the showers peak.

Note: I've gotten odd results when testing for moonset/sunrise at different times and locations with an embedded tide predictor link. Try this url and reset for your area if there are problems with that link.
