At the wakes for both my mother two years ago, and my older brother last month, there was almost as much laughter as tears. It's a good thing there were no other grieving families at the funeral home on either night, cause we got kinda raucus. But that's the way our family deals with death. We miss them terribly, but we know that our loved ones are with the Lord, and in a better place, so that helps us deal with the loss, and we can remember the fun times we had with them.

Yes, our family too. My older sister said she wondered if our dad said to her, "what took you so long". It was great to laugh about it.
