News from directly on scene in Iraq and not from a bar stool in a hotel like the MSM gives us.

I've come to the place where I wonder if it wouldn't be a good idea to give one 'test case' comunity the right to vote on whether our forces should fully withdraw or not.

What I'd like to see, is a community choose to have us leave, then have the whole community fall in on itself, the killing just being too much for them to take. At that point they might actually ask the troops to come back in and be willing to try to live in peace. If that can't happen, we can't force peace upon them. It may come to the point that we would have to leave Iraq and let those folks tear each other to bits.

I don't like the idea, but if the Iraqis won't persue peace, why should we continue to bother trying to help them? I value our troops too much for that.
