The Human Rights Campaign (HRC) held its 22nd annual gala dinner and awards ceremony, Bridges to Equality, at Moscone Center South on July 29. Ticket sales supported HRCs political work to make certain that LGBT Americans are ensured of their basic equal rights, to end discrimination against LGBT citizens and realize a nation that achieves fundamental fairness and equality for all.
Feingold said Iraq continues to be a mistake; it continues to hurt our national security; and we should withdraw our troops from Iraq within the next year, he said. Every one of us should not ask for but demand that every American be guaranteed health care. He said, We should also stand up to this national exploitation of attacks on the gay and lesbian community."
Feingold introduced CA gubernatorial candidate Angelides, who said, In California, we are going to wage a campaign of principle and compassion and commitment, and come November 7th were going to defeat Arnold Schwarzenegger and make California a model for social justice and progress again in America. He thanked Feingold for his courageous stand for marriage equality. He added, I look forward to a day when we talk about what binds us together; not what divides us. Were going to do great work together. He accused Schwarzenegger and Bush of fanning the flames of discrimination against gays and lesbians in this country to no good purpose and to defeat the very notion of American democracy and equality of opportunity. He said, Im sick and tired of it, and Im ready to fight, stand my ground, and make California a leader again in civil rights for this nation to admire. He said he looked forward to Lenos marriage bill landing on his desk for him to sign with pride and joy.

NO REAL conservative could possibly prefer Angelides as the next governor of CA. Anyone advocating Arnold's defeat is advocating Angelides' victory and is no conservative.
And those of you in Wisconsin should work very hard to defeat Feingold -- Angelides's socialist "brother": wants us to withdraw from Iraq, wants to guarantee healthcare for all ( who is going to pay for it?).
Angelides says he would sign gay marriage bill

Democratic gubernatorial candidate Phil Angelides said Friday that if he unseats Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger in November he would sign a bill legalizing gay marriage in California.
The California Legislature last year became the first lawmaking body in the nation to legalize gay marriage. Schwarzenegger vetoed the bill, saying it was up to voters or the courts, not lawmakers, to settle the matter.
The measure's sponsor, Assemblyman Mark Leno, D-San Francisco, plans to reintroduce it in December after the election.

Gee, I thought the HRC gala was for Hillary Rodham Clinton(HRC)
Lets see : we pull out of Iraq. the battling factions declare a civil war. Its a three way war with Shiites and Sunni's and Kurds. the kurds will suck in Turkey and parts ot Iran. Iran will back the Sunni's and the whole mess will explode. Good move Mr, Feingold.
Nobody discriminates against "LGBT Americans". We think that they are totally disgusting.
No legislation in the world can change that.
Category of "know thine enemy". Funny how leftists are all on the wrong side of everything....
Unfortunately one of them is a high profile Republican.
Arnold Schwarzenegger mainstreamed deviate behavior in California when he approved AB 1400 in September 2005. The LGBT community celebrated and praised Schwarzenegger for his right decision to support the legislation.
Schwarzenegger's moral pandering has paid dividends to his current campaign for reelection.
These people have all gone over the cliff, they no longer see the difference between reality and their fantasy worlds. Used to be they knew and pushed their agenda anyway, now.............they all in full blown psychosis.
I also direct you to my post 2 on this thread, quoting a recent article:

People once felt that about the mingling of the races or women in pants.
I was trying to figure how Hillary fit into this! She'll always be the first HRC in leap to my mind.
Well, Hillary ( and Bill) DID do fundraisers for Angelides, so there is a connection.
I know -- you can't refute my facts and logic, so you rant and engage in personal attacks. Of course everyone on this board can figure this out and see that all you do is rant, REPEATING ANGELIDES' TALKING POINTS AGAINST ARNOLD, almost word for word, as I pointed out specifically, at least twice.
So, what you are saying is, people having their genitalia mangled by a surgeon so that they can appear to be something that they are not is the same thing as women wearing pants?
Gender, the results of polishing, a description of a structural member, the seed of a plant or review of a theatrical presentation were not intended in my observation.
